How I plan to get my WLE: Oct. 26, 2010
The kind of internship that I was going for was more towards fashion. I want to learn more about the fashion world before i decide to enter it so i want an internship in that area. So far I emailed a lady but got no response back. I looked at things is the yellow pages but got nothing. I plan to work harder at looking for an internship so i can finally get one and be on my way.
Post 1: How I plan to get me WLE: January 6th
I am really into fashion and I want an internship that consists on things that have to do with fashion. I want to learn how the fashion world works. I want to know what seamstriss go through to make clothes, whats it's like the sketch and how the whole designing prosess works.
It's been really hard for me to find an internship. Ive been looking on the internet like crazy. I've called a lot of places, but they unfortunately don't need interns or accept them. It;s just hard to find one right now that I'm interested in.

Post 7: We all have a story to tell
Some of my peers blogs that I looked at were Haleigh, Jackselyn, Tera, Vittorio, and Julie Gal. The one that stood out to me the most was Tera's. She had so much detail and she really explained a lot about how and what she does in her internship. She's very constant with her posts and put a lot of effort into them. Looking at her blog really tells me that I need to do better and keep up with my posts. What she's doing is what I need to be doing to make my blog more effective.
There are about half of us doing are blogs. some people have a lot of this written and some people don't really have much posted like me. a person i could chose to help is myself. I need to be more on top of my game and do hat i need to do.
When I read through peoples blogs, It seems like we are all learning equally. Most of us have different internships from one another so we are all learning something different in out own ways. We all have a story to tell.
My internship I'm doing is not what I wanted. I'm just doing this to get a grade and graduate. i wanted something to do with fashion but it was just to hard to find. But don't get me wrong its not all that bad. It really has never been interesting or boring its just chill. I help people out with office work and do thing for them on the computer and that's how it has been since i got there. Nothing really changed.
I'm fine with the thing that they have me doing I just wish that I would could stay busy throughout the whole entire day.

Post 8: Analyzing my Workplace
For my WLE, i work in an office with about 20 or more people. Most of the time I don't really see them and sometimes most people arent here. They have their own personal offices and most people dont really come out of their office or desk. Its very quite and mollow here. I dont really communicate wiht most of the people here. Its a big buliding but Im on the 20th floor in an office. Not many people come in and out of here only the people that work here. Its way more mellow than a classroom and less people and more quiet. I do wonder what my classmates places are like. If they are smaller or big, noisy or mellow. Hopefully mellow b

The place i work in is a professional business place. To my knowledge, everyone here has a degree in something and some people here are still going to school to get more or higer degrees.
I like my WLE because iits calm and quiet and relaxing. I dont reall have a problem wiht anything here.

Post 10: Hands on Hard Work
Ive been completing all of my hours. I get to my WLE on time and leave on time. It seems that we've done more than 66.5 hours! But i am on track with my hours and plan to keep it that way.
Today, I did a lot of hands on work. My mentor has a program coming up at my internship and since ive been there ive been helping out a lot with that. She had me doing a lot of work today. i was doing things like copying, sorting, stapling and putting together folders. I also put together about 81 journals and folders with paperwork in them. I sorted and put together name badges for their program. I mainly just did a lot of hands on work. I accomplished everything that i had to do today. Every sinlge one of the tasks i was given. My mentor just basically let me handle everything.
I didnt do any planning or work for my WLE Exhibition. I dont remeber knowing i needed to do that. I dont even know what im supposed to be thiking about. Ill be sure to ask a teacher who knows about this..
